OOTD & FOTD | Theme Park

Hello! So yesterday I went to Thorpe Park, a very well known theme park here in the UK, with one of my close family friends. It was a lovely day, thanks to the weather holding out and not raining on us. Though we went on many water rides so did end up getting soaked any way. Straight after I went to the cinema with another group, of friends to see 'Divergent' don't worry I dried off first, haha!. It was absolutely amazing and probably one of my top 10 films. I love a good love story in film, and have to say I am a crier! But I'd defiantly recommend it. So I needed an outfit and makeup look that'd be suitable for both.

Were Back! | Bargain Hunt Haul

Hello our lovely followers and readers! long time no see.
Were incredibly sorry for our lack of posts, haven't posted anything since Christmas?! As many of you know me and Alanah are both in our first year at collage and we've both had a lot on our plates with coursework and revision. But were back, and although we may not post as much as we used to, we don't ever forget about our blog and were here for now, so lets get no with the post...

I have been looking for a few bargains in shops recently and yesterday me and a few girls, went to Portsmouth, Gunwharf Quays for a bit of shopping, as it was my friend Sophie's birthday. It was a lovely day out thanks to the nicer weather we've been having in the UK recently. If you've never been to Gunwharf Quays, you may not know it is an outlet shopping center, so many of the shops have their old seasons collections in for much cheaper prices and I found myself some great bargains.
I am unable to link many of these items, as they're usually not available to purchase in stores anymore.

Superdry | Cord Jacket
RRP | £54.99
Outlet | £32.99
(also available in other colours)

I'd been looking our for a jacket that I could also wear in the spring and summer, and many jackets I currently own are coats or leather jackets. I do have a denim jacket, but its layered with fur, so you do become very hot in it. When I saw this in Superdry I was very pleased, as its perfect for the spring and summer for the UK, as it doesn't ever get overly warm, so i do normally take a jacket with me anywhere.

Calvin Klein Underwear
RRP | £10-£13.50
Outlet | 4 for £25 or £7-£9

So I needed to pick up new underwear, though i thought it'd be a bit inappropriate to show you those, so here's the bag, haha!

Ralph Lauren | Marin White Canvas shoes
RRP | £75.00
Outlet | £34.99
(also available in other colours)

I feel everyone needs some white shoes in spring or summer, whether they be converse, vans, or the cheap Primark plimsolls. They just seem to go with everything, though with them being white they do get dirty quite easily and quickly so i didn't want to spend loads, though as I knew I'd wear them a lot, I wanted to purchase a nice pair. I saw these in Ralph Lauren and fell in love. Though the search for my size took around 30 minutes, (I am not exaggerating!). I needed a size 3, and they only had a 2.5 or 4, so i tried both on, and could get both on, but I went for the 4, as I'd rather they'd be large and i can do the laces up tighter, than having smaller ones that hurt so i wont wear them.

That's everything I bought in Portsmouth, but I thought I'd share a few other items I'd purchased these passed months as, I thought they were quite good bargains.
Sorry the trousers don't match, they were just what I was already wearing.

H&M | Floral Crop Top
Price | £6.99
(other colours and styles available)
couldn't find this online, but is still in stores

Topshop | Yellow Floral Crop Top
Price | £20
(available in other colours)

Topshop | Lace Crop Top
Price | £16
(available in other colours)
 purchase here

Topshop | Strappy Crop Top
Price | £8
(available in other colours)

OOTD | Rag Week Day 5 | Timewarp

Hello! So today the theme was time warp for our rag week. This could basically be anything from the past or the future. We both wore different things today apart from a couple bits.

 Sarah | 80's I think?                                                Alanah | 80's maybe? (I dont even know)
Jacket is from a boutique (not sure what)

Tops
Sarah | My top is actually Alanah's (thanks for letting me borrow it!) its from boohoo and is super big! but looks lovely tucked in. find it here
Alanah | My top is just a blue crop top which I got from Republic (Now USC) for only £3 in the sale! You can find it here. (Also my necklace is from H&M)

Bottoms
Sarah | I decided to wear a pair of high waisted disco pants that I'd purchased a while back from republic, now known as USC. As mine are quite old, they came out before the ones with the button and zipper did, which is upsetting as I do prefer those but these were a bargain at £10, and are unfortunately not in stock anymore.
Alanah | I wore some high waisted disco pants from H&M which I only got the other day and I absolutely love them - will probably wear these a lot! I can't find them online though but there are some similar - they were £24.99 but it was £10 off when I bought them so only £14.99!

Shoes
Sarah | Again, no surprise I wore my incredibly comfortable white converse, you can view our previous posts to see where I purchased these.
Alanah | My shoes don't really go with my outfit but I didn't really have anything.  I got these from Ralph Lauren in America so I don't know where to find them but they're very comfy!

Accessories and stuff
Sarah | As I was running quite low on money this month, I didn't wear as many accessories as Alanah, however I did wear a pair of hoop earings I purchased from Primark which came in a pack of 5 pairs for £2 (BARGAIN!)
Alanah | So I wore some massive hoop earrings which you can kind of see in the photo.  They were from Topshop in the sale.
I wore red lipstick (Sandy from Grease inspired) which is a Rimmel Kate Moss Lipstick in shade 107.
I also filled in my eyebrows to a slightly different shape and curled my hair up in a side ponytail.

Thank you for reading, we hope you liked our outfits.
We have done OOTDs this week on MondayTuesday, Wednesday and Thursday for Rag week so you can check them out.
Today was the last day of our rag week but keep checking back for some more regular posts including reviews, ootds, fotd, hauls and many other things!

OOTD | Rag Week Day 2 | Occupation

Hello, so for our second day of rag week, the theme was occupation and as we are both feeling very festive for Christmas (its only 36 days to go!) we thought we'd both go as elves.  Before you ask... yes an elf is an occupation!
We did wear the same today

Sarah                                                                                                                             Alanah

Hats!
We both wore the same 'Santa's Helper' hat (obviously)! These were from The Party Shop which is located in our local debenhams but I'm sure they have independant shops too.  I think they were on sale/clearance for about £1.30 which we thought was a great deal!

Bottoms

So we are both wearing leggings however they are both different so

Sarah | I am just wearing some plain basic leggings from h&m, you can find them here
Alanah | My leggings are quite thick and they look a bit like jeans actually haha, but these are from Topshop for £25 and in my opinion - a great pair of leggings! You can find these here.

Tops
So our tops are from Primark! We tried to get bigger sizes so they were a bit baggy but that didn't really work out as you can see.. they're pretty fitted.  They were only £5 and there were a few other designs such as Santa and Reindeers. I am pretty sure that they will still be in store, probably until Christmas!

Shoes
So we wore the same shoes as yesterday and they are pretty similar but a tad different.
Sarah |  Double tongue white converse (view similar ones here)
Alanah | Original white converse still in-store (view them here)

Jackets
We both wore leather jackets (because it was very cold today..) - but not the same ones

Sarah | My leather jacket used to be my mums, but she never wore it, so she let me have it, I think its from Dorothy Perkins.
Alanah | Mine is from a boutique near me, I honestly can't remember what it is called right now but it was about £25.

Thank you for reading, hope you liked it!
We will be doing a OOTD each day this week for RAG week, so make sure you check out yesterdays post and keep checking tomorrow for our 'outfit beginning with your first initial' outfits!
