No7 Soft & Soothed Gentle Toner | Review

Hello, so I've been using 'No7's Soft & Soothed Gentle Toner' recently to remove my makeup in the evening. And I thought I'd share my thought on it with you. As you may or may not know I love No7 products and own a lot of their makeup and when out looking for a new makeup remover, this caught my eye and I thought I'd give it a go.

First of all the main reason why I picked this product was the packaging, (IT'S PINK!) the bottle itself is very girly and feminine and have to say it does stand out in my bathroom, sitting next to mainly either clear or blue products.

This product is a gentle toner, and I have to say the word gentle is very important to me when buying skincare products as I find a lot of products I use that I may not have used before to react badly with my skin, as its quite sensitive. And when I first used this product it did break me out, whether it was the product, or that time of the month, or another product. But I stopped using this and left it at the back of my cupboard. But the other day when going to my dad's I forgot a cleanser and thought I'd give this another go. Turns out it is an amazing product and it doesn't react with my skin any more.

I apply this product to my face with a full face of make up on. For my skin I pour this on a large cotton pad. And wipe it all over my skin until no more makeup is coming off onto the pad. For removing my eye makeup. I tip a very small amount of this onto my finger tips and in a circular motion gently rub the product around my eyes. This product doesn't sting when being near your eyes, which is another great plus. As I have used cleansers which do react with my eyes in the past.

This product does state on the back of the bottle fragrance free, which I don't find it is, is smells lovely but its not fragrance free. Soft & Soothed gentle toner is also hypo-allergenic, meaning its kind to even the most sensitive of skins.

I have also found that my skin has been feeling a lot more hydrated than it normally would this time of the year, and I think this product has helped with that as it states that it refreshes, comforts and hydrates.

You can purchase this bottle at Boots for £8 which some may say is slightly pricey for a makeup remover but I love this product and found its most definitely worth the money. Also this is the price for a 200ml bottle so it does last you a while. I will most definitely be re-purchasing this product and I think it'll be my staple cleanser for a while.

What face cleansers are your favorite?

My new beauty buys | Haul | Topshop, Rimmel, Collection etc

Hello! So in the last couple of days I have bought a few little beauty bits (mainly makeup) that I would like to share with you.  I have a few lip products, a blush, a nail varnish, a concealer, an eyeliner and some makeup wipes.  If I have tried out the product I will let you know what I think, if I haven't yet then let me know if you would like a review in the future!
Hope you enjoy this!

1. Rimmel Lasting Finish Matte Lipstick by Kate Moss | Shade '107'
£5.49

I got this lipstick my local pharmacy and I had no idea they sold Rimmel in there so was quite happy when I saw a little Rimmel booth.
I have never tried a Kate Moss lipstick before so I decided to try this one.
I absolutely love the dark red color for Autumn and Winter as I don't think I am confident enough to wear a bright red.
I haven't really worn this out yet but I have tried it and it comes out beautifully on the lips, very pigmented but easy to make a little subtler by dabbing it on with my finger.
Definitely worth a look in store if you are looking for a lip color for Autumn/Winter.
(It also smells like watermelon which is nice!)

2. Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer | Shade 'Fair 1'
£4.19

Bet you've all heard about this concealer... definitely very raved up in the beauty community.  Now I was with Sarah when I bought this and I knew it was one of her holy grail items so I decided to try it (even though I love my Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer).  There was a 3 for 2 deal in boots going on so I couldn't help but buy it...
I haven't used it properly yet as I am still finishing my current concealer, but from what I have tried out - it seems like it does a very good job at concealing!
Although the tube is quite small compared to other concealers out there.

3. Natural Collection 'Blushed Cheeks' Blusher | Shade 'Rosey Glow'
£1.99

As there was a 3 for 2 on in boots I decided to look at Natural collection as they are pretty cheap.
I had heard there blushes are surprisingly good and pigmented and when I swatched them I found it was true!
I decided to pick this color because it's a dark pink and perfect for Autumn.  I don't really wear blush much so hopefully this will help me wear it a little more.
Beautiful color though, definitely recommend buying one of these!

4. Natural Collection 'Eye Lines' Eye Liner | Shade 'White'
£1.99

I mainly got this because I was looking for something else for my 3 for 2 deal however I do like to wear white eyeliner on my lower waterline so I thought I may as well pick it up.
Also, as it is Natural Collection it doesn't effect my eyes (as they're quite sensitive and react to some eyeliners).
The white comes out nicely on the waterline and definitely brightens my eyes however it doesn't seem to last that long so I have to top it up during the day.

5. Topshop Velvet Finish Lipstick | Shade 'Wicked'
£8.00

You may have seen this in my recent post 'My Beauty Wishlist' and now I can tick it off of my wishlist! To be honest it is fairly similar to the Kate Moss one, its just a more purpley color which I think I actually prefer with my skin tone.
This is my first Topshop lipstick and I only got it today but I love it, it goes on to my lips (with a little bit of blending with my finger) perfectly and it looks very nice with my hair color (I think..).
It looks lovely for the Autumn and Winter so I am looking forward to wearing this a bit more!

6. Topshop 'Matte Nails' Nail Varnish | Shade 'Light Brizzle'
£6.00

I have always wanted to try a Matte nail varnish and I do not own a grey nail varnish at all, so I thought this one was perfect for meee.
And for the upcoming season I think this is a nice neutral color to wear.
I haven't worn this yet as I only got it today but I may do a NOTD with this soon as I am hoping it will look nice.

7. Topshop 'Gloss' Lipgloss | Shade 'The thrill of the chase'
£4.00 (But I got it for free!)

At the moment in my local Topshop (Probably in others as well) you get a free lipgloss if you spend over £15 on makeup.. so I did!
I got a bright pink because I know it doesn't actually come out this color but I just thought it looked really cool in the tube.
I haven't really worn this yet.. I am just happy it was free haha, love a freebie!  It's not stick on my lips at all (so far) so I am guessing this will be a nice lip gloss to throw on over a pink lipgloss.

8. Topshop 3 in 1 Face Wipes
£2.00

I got these because I needed an extra £1 to get a free lipgloss haha, these were the cheapest thing there so I thought why not ay.  I haven't actually got any makeup wipes at the moment because I don't tend to use them (I mainly use Cleanser and toner).  However I will probably be lazy now and use them, I haven't tried them yet but I shall let you know how they are soon if you like!

Thank you for reading! I hope you enjoyed it, sorry it was a pretty long post. Let me know in the comments if you would like to see a review of any of these items.  Hope you all have/had a good day.

My Fashion Wishlist | Autumn/Winter 2013

Hello, today I'm going to share with you some of the fashion items I'm hoping to get this Autumn/Spring. Now as I don't yet own any of these products these are not my own photo's, however all links from where I got the images will be linked bellow.

1 | Black Ankle Boots
I've started to realize that all the shoes I own are very summery. I'm not very adventurous with shoes and will always be wearing Vans, Converse or Nike's. However this season I'm hoping to broaden my shoe collection by purchasing a pair of black ankle boots. I've seen these worn on many people and I think they can make a plain outfit look a lot more sophisticated.

2 | Baggy Christmas Jumpers
I recently purchased a Christmas jumper from Primark, which I haven't worn yet (but its SOOO tempting!) I find that jumpers can look really lovely on anyone, and they are super comfy, which is always a must in the winter. I want a mix of thin and thick jumpers so I can layer up the thin ones and wear the thick ones on those lazy days.

3 | Faux Leather Midi Dress
Now Nicole Scherzinger is such an inspiration for fashion to me. I just think she always looks so beautiful and she can wear anything and look lovely. Recently watching Celebrity Juice, Nicole was wearing a dress identical to this one, and it looked stunning and perfect for the colder months. Now I am very short at 5ft 1, so I struggle to find midi dresses that don't come down to my ankles, but I'll have to hunt for this.

4 | Grey Timberlands
These are another shoe I feel I'll be needing this Winter. These shoes are defiantly coming in for the end of the year. They are very similar to Doc Martins, but I prefer these. They come in a range of colors and I think I'd get a lot of wear out of the grey ones, especially as I don't own any grey shoes currently.

5 | Statement Necklaces
Although these aren't clothing, they are a fashion accessory thats a definate must have for this Autumn and Winter. They reallu add something to a plain jumper or top. You can have such a variation of necklaces and I think I'll most likely be adding some to my collection.

Thankyou for reading the post
What fashion items are you hoping to be purchasing this Autumn/Winter?
