No7 Soft & Soothed Gentle Toner | Review

Hello, so I've been using 'No7's Soft & Soothed Gentle Toner' recently to remove my makeup in the evening. And I thought I'd share my thought on it with you. As you may or may not know I love No7 products and own a lot of their makeup and when out looking for a new makeup remover, this caught my eye and I thought I'd give it a go.

First of all the main reason why I picked this product was the packaging, (IT'S PINK!) the bottle itself is very girly and feminine and have to say it does stand out in my bathroom, sitting next to mainly either clear or blue products.

This product is a gentle toner, and I have to say the word gentle is very important to me when buying skincare products as I find a lot of products I use that I may not have used before to react badly with my skin, as its quite sensitive. And when I first used this product it did break me out, whether it was the product, or that time of the month, or another product. But I stopped using this and left it at the back of my cupboard. But the other day when going to my dad's I forgot a cleanser and thought I'd give this another go. Turns out it is an amazing product and it doesn't react with my skin any more.

I apply this product to my face with a full face of make up on. For my skin I pour this on a large cotton pad. And wipe it all over my skin until no more makeup is coming off onto the pad. For removing my eye makeup. I tip a very small amount of this onto my finger tips and in a circular motion gently rub the product around my eyes. This product doesn't sting when being near your eyes, which is another great plus. As I have used cleansers which do react with my eyes in the past.

This product does state on the back of the bottle fragrance free, which I don't find it is, is smells lovely but its not fragrance free. Soft & Soothed gentle toner is also hypo-allergenic, meaning its kind to even the most sensitive of skins.

I have also found that my skin has been feeling a lot more hydrated than it normally would this time of the year, and I think this product has helped with that as it states that it refreshes, comforts and hydrates.

You can purchase this bottle at Boots for £8 which some may say is slightly pricey for a makeup remover but I love this product and found its most definitely worth the money. Also this is the price for a 200ml bottle so it does last you a while. I will most definitely be re-purchasing this product and I think it'll be my staple cleanser for a while.

6 Products I Cant Live Without | Tag

These are my 6 products that I cant live without, I don't honestly know whats I'd do without these products they all work so well for me. I'm not saying these products will work well for everyone, as everyone it different, but these all well for me, and I'd definitely recommend them.

The first product is my first, and I'd have to say all time best products I've ever bought. This is the 'Garnier Pure Active Exfo-Brusher Wash' I use this every night and occasionally in the morning if my skin is acting up.

This brush claims says it removes any dead skin cells, helps fight spots and fades marks. It also claims to show results from day 1 of use. I agree with these statements and if I didn't use this product my skin would definitely be a lot worse than how it is now.

The product contains salicylic acid, which is the concentration that helps clears pores and protect you skin against spots. When looking for spot treatments see in the ingredients if it contains salicylic acid, as this does really help spot prone skin.

My second product is the 'TRESemme split remedy. I've had this product for quite a long time, and I apply it too the ends of my hair every time I wash my hair. I've found this has improves the appearance of my hair's split ends as well as making the ends of my hair stronger and healthier.

This product is a white cream based formula making it easy to apply because it doesn't drip. You can get the leave in treatment or wash out of this product, I prefer the leave in treatment because I find it works better because it stays on your hair making it react for a longer duration of time.

This treatment claims to leave an 80% reduction in split ends after 3 uses, and I again would agree with this statement. I would even get compliments on my hair about the thickness and healthiness of it, and I would absolutely say its because of this product.

Third surprise, surprise... my all time favorite concealer, the Collection Ever Lasting Perfection concealer' I've raved about this product quite a bit, but I do suffer from blemishes as I do have sensitive skin, and horrible dark circles because I have to wake up early for college *blegh*. However this product helps a huge amount, the coverage of this product is astounding, and because the coverage is so amazing I hardly ever wear foundation anymore, just a touch up using this, and your good to go!

I am the shade 'medium 3' for this concealer and as you can see its a perfect match. Unfortunately this concealer only comes in 4 different shades, so you may struggle to find one that matches your skin, but if you can I would definitely say to purchase it because its really helped my skin as I've felt confident to wear this with no foundation.

My forth product you might consider a bit of a cheat as I've chosen a brand rather than a product, but the Real Techniques brushes are amazing, that I think I may prefer them to any other brush I've ever tried. They just blend product into your skin so flawlessly and it leaves such a beautiful finish.

I sadly only own the expert face brush, (which you can see a review of HERE) and the shading brush (which I used to create a smokey eye look as you can see HERE). But I am really hoping to expand my collection so let me know which other brushes I should buy if you've tried them, or which ones you'd like to purchase

Fifth I have my Carmex lip balm, which I purchased at Primark! These lip balms are the best ones I've tried and trust me, I've tried a lot. This lip balm isn't amazing for the smell as most that I buy are, but this one really moisturizes your lips making them so smooth. I have the mint flavor and I'm not sure if they have other flavor, but I don't mind if they don't because I will carry on to probably always repurchase this product as I'm prone to getting chapped lips in the winter.

Also this applicator for this lip balm is rounded which makes is really easy to apply when your on the go. You simply squeeze and rub onto your lips. Another thing about the application of this product is that when you squeeze the product out, if you've overloaded on the product then, it goes back into the tube. Stopping you wasting product.

My final product is Benefits They're Real mascara. This is the first high end mascara I've bought and you can definitely see the difference from using high street mascaras. First benefit I love about this mascara (see what I did there!) is that it doesn't clump at all, where as with every other mascara I've used its slightly clumped.

Next the length of the mascara is one of the best I've used. It really makes them super long and luscious.

The applicator of this brush is plastic, which I wasn't sure I'd get along with but I actually really like it. I would most definitely recommend this mascara for all types, or even just go in to find a tester size, because my lashes look and feel brand new.

Night Time Routine + Products I Use

Hello! Here is my everyday night time routine and the products I use.

1. First I will have a shower and wash my hair.
I like to wash my hair at night because I don't have time in the morning and I have very thick hair so I have the evening for it to dry.
To wash my hair I use TRESemmé luxurious moisture shampoo and for conditioner I use the TRESemmé luxurious conditioner, however once a week (today being that day) I use the TRESemmé Thermal recovery conditioning mask. I shampoo my hair twice because there's a lot of it!
For my body I use Soap and Glory's 'Clean, Girls' body was and for my face I use Garnier Pure Active 3 in 1.
The face scrub can also be used as a mask, I definitely recommend this if you get dry skin as it scrubs nicely.
I recommend all of these products.

Looking fabby in the shower!

2. Once I have put the conditioning mask on my hair I will get out of the shower and chill for around 20-30 minutes with the mask in my hair.
If you have heat damaged ends, I definitely recommend this mask, you can use it once a week or more depending on how much condition you need but it works really well.  I could tell the difference after just one wash!
I then get back in the shower and rinse all of the mask off, it makes my hair sooo soft.  I will then towel dry my hair to stop it from dripping.

4. I will then take off any excess eye makeup that I wasn't able to get off in the shower, usually there isn't much so I will just use a toner.  I use Simple soothing toner (which is lovely)
I will then moisturise my face with my Superdrug night cream. This cream is actually really good quality for the price (which is around £2) and is definitely very moisturizing.  I also use the day version of this cream and they work great together.
Then I put on my Clean & Clear spot gel on any blemishes, and my Jean Paul Gaultier lip balm (which is actually for men but works great!)

 5. Then I will moisturize my body.  At the moment I am using Jean Paul Gaultier 'Classique' moisturizer but I like to mix it up and I will often change my moisturizer.  I love the smell of this one though.  I will usually moisturise my legs, arms and just random other bits really, but sometimes I get a bit lazy and just do my legs.

6. Next is my pajamas! Usually I get quite hot in bed (even in the Winter) so I will normally just wear a Tshirt and some shorts.  Any will do, if I get chilly I can chuck on a dressing gown or onesie ;)

7. After munching on any snacks that I may want before bed (usually chocolate) I will brush my teeth! I always change which toothpaste I use depending what is on offer really, toothpaste has never really shown any difference (e.g. whitening) on my teeth so I don't bother with them most of the time.

8. If my hair is still wet by the time I am going to bed, I will give it a dry with the hairdryer.  Normally I don't dry it completely because I have a lot of hair and it takes ages!

9. Now I just chill on my laptop, watch youtube videos, listen to music, surfff the web! And when I get tired...

 I go to sleep!

Sorry that was so long! I hope you enjoyed it though, hope you liked my very attractive photos ;)
