No7 Soft & Soothed Gentle Toner | Review

Hello, so I've been using 'No7's Soft & Soothed Gentle Toner' recently to remove my makeup in the evening. And I thought I'd share my thought on it with you. As you may or may not know I love No7 products and own a lot of their makeup and when out looking for a new makeup remover, this caught my eye and I thought I'd give it a go.

First of all the main reason why I picked this product was the packaging, (IT'S PINK!) the bottle itself is very girly and feminine and have to say it does stand out in my bathroom, sitting next to mainly either clear or blue products.

This product is a gentle toner, and I have to say the word gentle is very important to me when buying skincare products as I find a lot of products I use that I may not have used before to react badly with my skin, as its quite sensitive. And when I first used this product it did break me out, whether it was the product, or that time of the month, or another product. But I stopped using this and left it at the back of my cupboard. But the other day when going to my dad's I forgot a cleanser and thought I'd give this another go. Turns out it is an amazing product and it doesn't react with my skin any more.

I apply this product to my face with a full face of make up on. For my skin I pour this on a large cotton pad. And wipe it all over my skin until no more makeup is coming off onto the pad. For removing my eye makeup. I tip a very small amount of this onto my finger tips and in a circular motion gently rub the product around my eyes. This product doesn't sting when being near your eyes, which is another great plus. As I have used cleansers which do react with my eyes in the past.

This product does state on the back of the bottle fragrance free, which I don't find it is, is smells lovely but its not fragrance free. Soft & Soothed gentle toner is also hypo-allergenic, meaning its kind to even the most sensitive of skins.

I have also found that my skin has been feeling a lot more hydrated than it normally would this time of the year, and I think this product has helped with that as it states that it refreshes, comforts and hydrates.

You can purchase this bottle at Boots for £8 which some may say is slightly pricey for a makeup remover but I love this product and found its most definitely worth the money. Also this is the price for a 200ml bottle so it does last you a while. I will most definitely be re-purchasing this product and I think it'll be my staple cleanser for a while.

Night Time Routine + Products I Use

Hello! Here is my everyday night time routine and the products I use.

1. First I will have a shower and wash my hair.
I like to wash my hair at night because I don't have time in the morning and I have very thick hair so I have the evening for it to dry.
To wash my hair I use TRESemmé luxurious moisture shampoo and for conditioner I use the TRESemmé luxurious conditioner, however once a week (today being that day) I use the TRESemmé Thermal recovery conditioning mask. I shampoo my hair twice because there's a lot of it!
For my body I use Soap and Glory's 'Clean, Girls' body was and for my face I use Garnier Pure Active 3 in 1.
The face scrub can also be used as a mask, I definitely recommend this if you get dry skin as it scrubs nicely.
I recommend all of these products.

Looking fabby in the shower!

2. Once I have put the conditioning mask on my hair I will get out of the shower and chill for around 20-30 minutes with the mask in my hair.
If you have heat damaged ends, I definitely recommend this mask, you can use it once a week or more depending on how much condition you need but it works really well.  I could tell the difference after just one wash!
I then get back in the shower and rinse all of the mask off, it makes my hair sooo soft.  I will then towel dry my hair to stop it from dripping.

4. I will then take off any excess eye makeup that I wasn't able to get off in the shower, usually there isn't much so I will just use a toner.  I use Simple soothing toner (which is lovely)
I will then moisturise my face with my Superdrug night cream. This cream is actually really good quality for the price (which is around £2) and is definitely very moisturizing.  I also use the day version of this cream and they work great together.
Then I put on my Clean & Clear spot gel on any blemishes, and my Jean Paul Gaultier lip balm (which is actually for men but works great!)

 5. Then I will moisturize my body.  At the moment I am using Jean Paul Gaultier 'Classique' moisturizer but I like to mix it up and I will often change my moisturizer.  I love the smell of this one though.  I will usually moisturise my legs, arms and just random other bits really, but sometimes I get a bit lazy and just do my legs.

6. Next is my pajamas! Usually I get quite hot in bed (even in the Winter) so I will normally just wear a Tshirt and some shorts.  Any will do, if I get chilly I can chuck on a dressing gown or onesie ;)

7. After munching on any snacks that I may want before bed (usually chocolate) I will brush my teeth! I always change which toothpaste I use depending what is on offer really, toothpaste has never really shown any difference (e.g. whitening) on my teeth so I don't bother with them most of the time.

8. If my hair is still wet by the time I am going to bed, I will give it a dry with the hairdryer.  Normally I don't dry it completely because I have a lot of hair and it takes ages!

9. Now I just chill on my laptop, watch youtube videos, listen to music, surfff the web! And when I get tired...

 I go to sleep!

Sorry that was so long! I hope you enjoyed it though, hope you liked my very attractive photos ;)

Pamper Evening Products

The following products are what I like to use on a 'pamper evening' and I know people who would read this would probably like to have little pamper evenings where you just relax and replenish your skin. So these are just some products I like to use.

First I use the Simple cleaning facial wipes to remove my facial makeup, I bought these an uncountable amount of times and love them, I have incredibly sensitive skin so I have to be really careful with certain products i put on my face and I've never had a simple product break me out so I love the brand. Also i don't like to use these to remove my eye makeup, this is because I find its too harsh on your eyes, and we don't want to be loosing a load of eye lashes!

Instead to remove my eye makeup I use the L'Oreal Paris Purifying Micellar Solution. I saw this being recommended by Fleur (at FluerDeForce on youtube) and she said it was the closest thing to Bioderma she's found, and I would say I agree but I've never tried Bioderma, I find it very hard to find in the UK, I think you could probably get it online but I tried this and really like it, you can use this on your whole face but I prefer to use this only on my eyes.

Next I like to have a bath, and I like to go all out with music, candles lit, a magazine and a bath bomb. I recently bought this one in a shop local to me called 'Chickadee' its a cute little shop with lots of little home wear bits, and they recently just started doing bath bombs so I decided to purchase one this one is in the scent 'very berry' its smells lovely! Its a very autumn winter scent and I cant wait to try it.

When I come out of the bath the first thing I like to do is moisturize my body. I've been loving this scent for autumn it's the cocoa radiant scent and smells of cocoa, its quite a spicy scent and I don't normally like this for in the mornings, its definitely more of a evening smell moisturizer  But I love Vaseline products for my lips, so when I saw this I thought i should give it a try, and its amazing it goes on evenly and doesn't feel greasy when you put it on, what I also love about this is that the moisture in the product lasts for a long time on your skin, it just makes it feel lovely and hydrated and refreshed.

After being in the bath, I then put TRESemme's split remedy into my hair, and I really do love this product, I don't actually know how but it really does help getting rid of split ends. It also makes then ends of my hair feel lovely and soft. I pump around 2/3 pumps into my hand and run it through the ends of my hair, with this I like to almost stick split ends back together by spreading the product down the ends of my hair.

Then as every girl needs on a pamper night I follow up with a face mask, I currently love the Superdrug's own brand called simply pure, I love this one for what it does to my skin, it just makes it look so much healthier after, this one is also easy to tell when the products fully dry as it goes on green and dries white. However I also love Superdrug's exfoliating mask in the scent 'summerfruits' this is quite a summery scent but its the best smelling face mask iIve ever tried, i could literally eat it, I wouldn't say this mask has as much of a effect as the simply pure mask but still does a great job.

While my mask is drying I normally like to read blogs, or watch a youtube video for a while depending on the mask you've used you could be waiting a while. I normally wait for around 20 minutes or until I cant move my face anymore.

I then rinse off the mask and use my favorite ever product this is what I would call the simplest version of a clarisonic, its just that you massage it into your skin manually, this is the best product I've bought and I hardly ever get spots any more this picks up any remaining dirt from your face and really just cleanses your skin, I would highly recommend this to anyone because its defiantly worth paying for.

Next I just wipe across this cleansing lotion by clean and clear, I like to do this using the extra large cotton pads because I find they last so much longer and i only need one for my whole face, and there not any more expensive than what I was paying for with the smaller sized ones.

Finally to moistuize I use Superdrug's simply pure face cream just to lock in any moisture over night and keep my skin lovely and hydrated.

Sorry this post was really long! Let me know in the comments below what you like to use on pamper evenings.
