Summer/Holiday fashion wish list | 2014

Hello Everyone!
I hope you are all well and having a good start to June - supposedly the start of Summer!
So today I am here with a wishlist including some fashion items that I have my eye on or am looking to buy something similar too.  As you will see I have taken some items and given a few examples for them as I like a lot of things at the moment.. hahaha.  Now I have a lot of things that I have seen that I love however here are just a few of my favorites which I would love to purchase in time for the summer and before I go on holiday.
Links to each item are linked throughout!
I hope you enjoy :)

First off is a white leather jacket!
I absolutely love my black leather jackets however I have found myself not wearing them as much as I would in the Autumn/Winter time as I am not keen on dressing so dark in the Summer.  Recently I have seen a couple of white leather jackets on clothing websites that I love however they mostly seem to be very expensive so I have found a couple of slightly cheaper alternatives that I am definitely looking into buying one of on my next pay day!

First Jacket | Asos | £55
Second Jacket | Topshop | £48

White strappy sandals
You may see a white trend occurring through this post... aha I absolutely love the white fashion trend that seems to be very popular at the moment - especially as it makes me looked more tanned! I love this style of sandals and have seen a few around but these are my favorites however the ones from boohoo are out of stock in my size at the moment so hopefully they will get some more in soon!

I love every pair of these as they are all different, and the first pair have a nice platform which would be a nice and comfy substitute for heels especially on holiday if you were going out for a meal!

First Pair | Boohoo | £25
Second Pair | Topshop | £22
Third Pair | Boohoo | £22

Summery Dresses!
At college we aren't really allowed to wear shorts... unless they're quite long which I don't really like and they definitely don't suit me! Haha, so dresses are the best thing to wear when it gets a bit hot as I don't really want to be sitting around in jeans when I could be getting a tan.
A couple of weeks ago me and Sarah went and tried on loaads of dresses (Including a few of the ones below) and I found that the 'smock dresses' suit me quite nicely and I am looking in to buying a few for college and for my holiday to Corfu in the summer as I think they'd be perfect! So here are a few that I am loving...

My favorite one is definitely the first one and I have already tried it on so that's something I am definitely going to be purchasing soon, but I love them all!  H&M has loads of affordable dresses which are really nice and light for the Summer.

1 | Topshop | £28
2 | Topshop | £28
3 | Topshop | £36
4 | H&M | £5.99
5 | H&M | £14.99

White denim High waisted shorts
I really want some white shorts because 1. They make me looked tanned and 2. They're just so pretty! These 2 pairs that I have found are both from Hollister and I can't really seem to find many high waisted pairs around at the moment.. as these 2 pairs are quite expensive I am hoping that somewhere like Topshop comes out with a nice pair soon!

1 | Hollister | £42
2 | Hollister | £42

High waisted 'Washed Black' Joni Jeans | Topshop | £36
I dont have a pair of these in grey yet and the other day I tried Sarah's on and I really liked them! Although they are not very summery they will still be great for when it's not so warm here in England!

Elephant Charm Choker Necklace | Ebay | £3.75
I've seen a few people wearing these and I used to wear things like it when I was little! I think they look really cute though and I've been loving shorter necklaces recently so this is pretty cheap and I would love to see if I can pull one off!

White 'Push em up' Bikini | Gilly Hicks | £34
(They also sell this on the Hollister website) Again... white makes me look tanned!  And a bit of push up is always nice when you don't have much hahah.

And... that's everything!  Geeez, I'm going to be skint!
Let me know what your favorite thing on my list is, and what's on your wishlist for this Summer.
Also.. where are you going on holiday this year (If you are) let me know in the comments below!

I hope you enjoyed this post,
lotsa love

Were Back! | Bargain Hunt Haul

Hello our lovely followers and readers! long time no see.
Were incredibly sorry for our lack of posts, haven't posted anything since Christmas?! As many of you know me and Alanah are both in our first year at collage and we've both had a lot on our plates with coursework and revision. But were back, and although we may not post as much as we used to, we don't ever forget about our blog and were here for now, so lets get no with the post...

I have been looking for a few bargains in shops recently and yesterday me and a few girls, went to Portsmouth, Gunwharf Quays for a bit of shopping, as it was my friend Sophie's birthday. It was a lovely day out thanks to the nicer weather we've been having in the UK recently. If you've never been to Gunwharf Quays, you may not know it is an outlet shopping center, so many of the shops have their old seasons collections in for much cheaper prices and I found myself some great bargains.
I am unable to link many of these items, as they're usually not available to purchase in stores anymore.

Superdry | Cord Jacket
RRP | £54.99
Outlet | £32.99
(also available in other colours)

I'd been looking our for a jacket that I could also wear in the spring and summer, and many jackets I currently own are coats or leather jackets. I do have a denim jacket, but its layered with fur, so you do become very hot in it. When I saw this in Superdry I was very pleased, as its perfect for the spring and summer for the UK, as it doesn't ever get overly warm, so i do normally take a jacket with me anywhere.

Calvin Klein Underwear
RRP | £10-£13.50
Outlet | 4 for £25 or £7-£9

So I needed to pick up new underwear, though i thought it'd be a bit inappropriate to show you those, so here's the bag, haha!

Ralph Lauren | Marin White Canvas shoes
RRP | £75.00
Outlet | £34.99
(also available in other colours)

I feel everyone needs some white shoes in spring or summer, whether they be converse, vans, or the cheap Primark plimsolls. They just seem to go with everything, though with them being white they do get dirty quite easily and quickly so i didn't want to spend loads, though as I knew I'd wear them a lot, I wanted to purchase a nice pair. I saw these in Ralph Lauren and fell in love. Though the search for my size took around 30 minutes, (I am not exaggerating!). I needed a size 3, and they only had a 2.5 or 4, so i tried both on, and could get both on, but I went for the 4, as I'd rather they'd be large and i can do the laces up tighter, than having smaller ones that hurt so i wont wear them.

That's everything I bought in Portsmouth, but I thought I'd share a few other items I'd purchased these passed months as, I thought they were quite good bargains.
Sorry the trousers don't match, they were just what I was already wearing.

H&M | Floral Crop Top
Price | £6.99
(other colours and styles available)
couldn't find this online, but is still in stores

Topshop | Yellow Floral Crop Top
Price | £20
(available in other colours)

Topshop | Lace Crop Top
Price | £16
(available in other colours)
 purchase here

Topshop | Strappy Crop Top
Price | £8
(available in other colours)

Last Minute Christmas Gift Guide | For Her

Hello, sorry for lack of posts lately. Both me and Alanah have been really busy working for our a-levels. But don't worry its finally the Christmas Holidays! and I thought I'd do one sneaky Christmas post before Christmas is over. So here's a little help for buying Christmas presents for any girls in your life, like your mum, sister, friend. Most of these items are pretty cheap and could probably go in a stocking, hope you enjoy and get some inspiration.

Small Bag | Primark £6
I think a small bag to just keep some money and your phone in, is essential for any girl whether your on a night out, or away on holiday at some point you'll need a smaller bag you don't need to carry the entire contents of your home in. This particular one I purchased a while ago from Primark, but they tend to have them in all year round.

Makeup Brushes | Real Techniques (price ranges)
This present is ideal for anyone whose into makeup and beauty. You don't have to buy this particular brand of makeup brush you can change the brand depending on how much you want to spend. Some brushes come in multiple packs which can end up being cheaper than if you were to buy them each separate. However they can be quite expensive.

Eyeshadow base | Maybelline Colour Tattoo 24hr £5
Eyeshadow bases are really coming into brands more, Maybelline's were one of the first I saw and I think they're amazing, they are very pigmented so if you wanted to wear them on their own they'd be fine and they last for a very long time because of this. Many high end brands now do similar products to the colour tattoo, such as YSL and Mac so if you wanted to spend a bit more their suggestions to purchase.

Makeup Pallet's | Sleek & Naked beauty
Makeup Pallets are an ideal Christmas present for a girl who likes makeup, there are such a range  in different pallets from eyeshadow to lipglosses, and they all come in so many different colours. You can really choose this product to fit the person your buying for such, from the colours that suits their skin tone, to the beauty products they prefer, there are also some great drugstore as well as high end products so depending on how much your spending, you can have lots to choose from.

Mascara | Benefit and Chanel
Again another beauty item would be mascara's I recommend both of these the Benefit mascara is the most popular mascara bought at £19.50 its pretty pricey, but I have to say you can see why people pay this price. It really add's volume and lengthens your lashes and I would defiantly recommend this mascara. A waterproof mascara I'd recommend would be Chanel's Inimitable Waterproof Multi Dimensional Mascara. This again really adds volume and lengthens your lashes, but its also waterproof. However you can change the mascara depending on your preference and budget.

Nail Polish | No7 (Boots) £7
Nail Polish is a lovely present any girl would be happy to receive and with such a range in brands, prices and colours you can most definitely change which one to buy depending on your preference of what you think whoever your buying for will like best. Nail Polishes last a very long time which I find makes your money go a long way no matter how much you spend, so any brand and any price would be good.

Phone Cases | Apple
Again you can choose this product to what brand, colour and price applies best to whoever your buying for. Phone cases are one of the most varied products there is. However I would definitely recommend Apple as a phone case brand to by from, the cases aren't the cheapest I'll admit, however if your a completely clumsy like me and always drop your phone its worth the expense, there's a range of colours available too.

Tartan Scarf | Primark £4
Now I feel everyone needs a Tartan scarf for winter they go with pretty much anything and come in so many colours and many shops have come out with them at a range of prices this year. I found this particular one in Primark, and its actually pretty good quality the material isn't overly thick however as its pretty long when wrapped around you neck a few times its perfect.

Perfumes/Body-sprays | Soap & Glory/Zara (range in price)
Now this is perfect for any girl, because hey, everyone loves to smell nice. Many shops do some lovely Christmas scents one I particularly love using in Winter is this one by Zara, I kindly received it for my birthday this year, its a very warming scent but not overly strong. Then a body spray I like using all year round would have to be 'Mist You' by Soap & Glory, it smells very fruity and is in a large bottle, its lasted me all year, and is a lovely fresh scent.

Thankyou for reading, I hope these gave you some inspiration on what to buy for some people, or present ideas for yourself. Let me know if you'd like to see reviews on any of these products of if I've missed anything out.
Merry Christmas!

Sarah
